2018 Gumboot Rally raises second-highest total in 26 years!


THE 26TH ANNUAL GUMBOOT RALLY
raised more than $25,000 for the Yellowknife Association for Community Living on Saturday, May 5, making this the second-highest rally total ever achieved!
Total raised: $25,063
One dozen teams competed in gumboot-themed games of skill on Saturday morning in the Yk1 parking lot. Other teams dropped off donations but were unable to compete.

Funds collected by the rally help run the services offered by YKACL such as:

  • Family and Children’s Services
  • Supported Independent Living
  • Skills Training & Community Inclusion
  • Employment Services
  • Literacy Outreach Program
