STAFF PROFILE: Ghyslain Letourneau, Supported Living Co-ordinator

WORKING AT INCLUSION NWT is like being part of a community. We all come from many different backgrounds and creative new ideas are always welcomed.
Working at Inclusion NWT really motivates me every morning, every day has a routine, but there is always something new – I have never felt bored. Every situation with the clients is unique. It is interesting to see the clients challenge themselves in a different work environment.
Working at Inclusion NWT changed my way of living. At the end of the day I’m coming home with the feeling that I have done something good for our community.
Even though I work independently with clients, I know that I can ask questions or seek guidance from my supervisor without feeling that I will be judged.
I have worked at this association for about four years now, during those 4 years I had the chance to work at Skills Training & Community Inclusion, Employment Services and Supported living Services. Each department is really different, but the main goal is to guide the client in their daily tasks and make sure they are doing their work safely.
We work with the clients and not for them.
If you would like to make a change in the community, if you would like to share your competence and you like human interaction, apply to join our team!
