Come meet with other family members of people with disabilities for another casual get-together at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21.
Join us for our Family Networking Group November social at the Abe Miller building at 4912 53rd Street. Our hosts, Karen and Carla, share the parent experience.
“The Family Networking Group is a comfortable, safe and confidential space to meet for family members supporting relatives with disabilities. It’s an opportunity for families to share information, experiences and conversation,” said group co-host Carla Maxwell. “We enjoy meeting with other families and sharing stories and support. Each family’s journey is unique and special, different but similar.”
Childcare and respite support will be available at the meeting location. If you intend to bring your family member, please contact us at 920-2644 by Monday, Nov. 19, at 4 p.m. so we can ensure we have enough staff.
