The Odd Job Squad cleans up your Xmas Xmesses!
THE ODD JOB SQUAD is accepting bookings for curbside Xmas tree pickup between Jan 2 and 31. For $10, the Squad will pick up your old Xmas tree from your curbside on weekdays in January.
The City of Yellowknife no longer offers curbside Xmas tree pickup.
The Odd Job Squad is also available to take down Xmas decorations, make dump runs as well as a long list of other short-term or one-time tasks, such as yardwork, housecleaning and furniture deliveries.
The Odd Job Squad launched this past spring as an initiative of YKACL Employment Services. The project seeks to assist under-employed individuals who self-identify with a disability to derive a small income from one-time or short-term work while they search for permanent employment.
The Odd Job Squad is also perfect for washing and vacuuming vehicles, sweeping and mopping floors, washing windows, moving furniture, chopping wood, alphabetizing, dishwashing, hauling gravel, shoveling, stocking shelves, providing construction assistance, taking out trash and much more!
