CENTURY 21 STAFF RAISED $26,000 in support of the Yellowknife Association for Community Living (YKACL) during their 18-hole charity golf tournament on June 8.
The organizers presented their donations to YKACL clients at the Abe Miller Building the following week. The funds will help run the Association’s Youth Employment Services this year.
“We are all thrilled to receive this donation and are grateful for all the hard work and energy that organizers put into this event,” said YKACL executive director Lynn Elkin. “The money will be very useful to run our new Youth Employment Services, which seeks to assist young adults to find jobs in the community.”
The first annual Century 21 Golf Tournament ran throughout the afternoon and featured a shot-gun start.
