60 Years of Inclusion anniversary celebrations

(Spring Break Edition: March 14-25)

INCLUSION NWT invites families to participate in our 60 Years of Inclusion anniversary celebrations – Spring Break Edition: March 14-25.

In partnership with our friends at the NWT Literacy Council, the Inclusion NWT Odd Job Squad will install a self-guided story walk along the length of Niven Trail on Monday, March 14 and a second story walk on Monday, March 21, based on beautiful books provided by the Yellowknife Book Cellar.

All participants will be eligible to win fun prizes by registering via email with the NWT Literacy Council or Inclusion NWT. Prizes include brand new books, Arctic Fox-themed art and a Spring Break adventure kit provided by Ecology North.

“We are so excited to celebrate the accomplishment of 60 years for Inclusion NWT. Inclusion NWT and NWT Literacy Council have been partners for many years, centered around our goals of helping all NWT residents achieve their literacy and learning goals,” said Katie Johnson, NWT Literacy Council Program Manager.

The story walks feature the books: Sometimes I Feel Like a Fox by Danielle Daniel and Over and Under the Snow by Kate Messner.

Meanwhile…

Inclusion NWT’s We Love Our Community free draws continue at True Value Hardware and Weaver & Devore, with new draws planned in cooperation with the Yellowknife Guild of Arts & Crafts, Buffalo Air and the City of YK.
